Commercial freight

Every load is priced from a fixed Base + Distance matrix — the same formula for everyone, calculated from real road mileage and shown before you confirm. There is no blind bidding, no surge, and no broker haggling. What you see is the rate.
What does the carrier keep?+
The carrier keeps 100% of the fixed rate and 100% of any tip. DriverTows takes no percentage and no broker fee on any load — the legacy platform cut is gone. This is a load board, not a broker.
Is this a freight broker?+
No. DriverTows is a dispatch and clearing platform — a load board. We route loads to FMCSA-verified independent carriers and clear the payment straight to them. We are never a party to the transport contract and never hold a member’s funds.
What is the service fee?+
Checkout shows one flat service fee that covers running the platform and clearing the payment. It is a single flat line — never a card, processing, or surcharge line.
Who am I actually paying?+
The independent carrier, directly, on their own connected payment account. DriverTows never sits in the flow of funds for a load — we dispatch and clear the payment straight to the carrier who moves the freight.
Who can carry a load on DriverTows?+
Only carriers with verified FMCSA operating authority (USDOT + MC) and current cargo insurance for the class they run. Commercial freight requires a cargo Certificate of Insurance on file before a load can be dispatched.
